Understand the terms in a minute

Plain-language definitions of the terms used across the service.

Enterprise secure connection
An encrypted network-connection service for individuals and teams, using enterprise-grade protocols and certificate authentication for stable, secure cross-border access.
Encrypted line
A dedicated, end-to-end encrypted network channel so data is not exposed in transit; suited to cross-border access that needs stability and privacy.
Cross-border access
Reaching services and content hosted in another region from your current network, using an encrypted connection for a steadier, lower-latency link.
Cisco Secure Client
Cisco official secure-connection client (formerly AnyConnect), available on major app stores and compatible with this service one-tap import and passwordless certificate login.
OpenConnect / ocserv
An open-source secure-connection protocol and server used as this service enterprise-grade transport; desktop and command line can also connect with the OpenConnect client.
Client-certificate authentication
Uses a one-time imported certificate instead of a username and password for identity; on iOS it enables install once, then connect without a password. Android and desktop use account + password by default.
One-tap profile import
A mechanism that imports every route and certificate into the client server list at once, avoiding manual per-entry setup.
Global mode
Routes all network traffic through the encrypted line; the most stable way to reach overseas services.
Split-routing (China-direct) mode
Smart routing where domestic sites connect directly and only overseas traffic uses the encrypted line, balancing speed and reach.
Concurrent devices
How many devices one account may keep online at the same time, determined by the plan tier.
Super-tunnel (TCP)
A TCP-only connection mode that is steadier when the network blocks UDP; off by default and enabled manually when needed.
Peak speed
The top transfer rate for a plan tier; see the plans comparison table for exact figures. Data is likewise tiered by plan.
DTLS
A UDP-based encrypted transport protocol with low latency, used in the default connection mode for faster response.
Free trial
A trial period granted automatically on sign-up (24 hours currently); try before you buy, no payment required.
